... The Folcrom is a high-quality passive mixer, designed for multichannel analog summing of digital mixes. It uses no active components, no gain or level control. The idea behind this is, levels, panning, EQ's to send, and to effect sends to your DAW and then up to 16 individual tracks or subgroups of high D / A converter in the Folcrom. Each input channel has a Folcrom symmetric connection on one of the two 8-channel DB25 multipin inputs as well as a pair of pushbutton switches that allow the channel to either the left or right output - or both - can be sent. By factoring out the make-up gain amplifier stage in Folcrom an uncompromising, neutral Summing Buss is achieved, which costs only a fraction of your car. At the same time it opens up the use of any preamps a unique tonal interference ability in the make-up gain process.
