A fianco all'American Standard Stratocaster, Il nuovo modello HSS ha le modifiche giuste, grazie all'elevato output e al calore dei Tex Mex single-coil e del Diamondback humbucker. Lo switch S-1 è stato rimosso per una maggior semplicità, ma tranquilli, abbiamo mantenuto intatti i bordi della tastiera arrotondati, i pickup alnico V e le meccaniche ad altezza progressiva per garantire suono, suonabilità e stabilità dell'accordatura, ma abbiamo apportato alcune interessanti modifiche, quali:
